Prenatal Consultation

What is included:

A thorough overview of breastfeeding basics, what to expect, and navigating common concerns
Personal review of your health and medication history, and discussion of any potential risks or concerns
Creation of an individualized care plan based on your breastfeeding goals
Time to talk and answer questions
Access to an exclusive folder of curated client resources

(90 minutes) In-person $175; Virtual $150

Initial Lactation Consultation

What is included:

Breastfeeding assessment and support
Baby weight assessment pre and post feeding
Personal review of your health and medication history
Creation of an individualized goal-directed care plan addressing your concerns
Answers to your breastfeeding/ lactation questions

(120 minutes) In-person home visit: $250
Additional fee for multiples: $50/ baby

Exclusively Pumping or Older Baby Consult

What is included:

Observation of a pumping session (if needed)
Flange sizing and creation of a pumping plan
Personal review of your health and medication history
Creation of an individualized goal-directed care plan addressing your concerns
Answers to your breastfeeding/ lactation questions
May be used to discuss starting solids or baby-led weaning

(90 minutes) In-person $200; Virtual $175
Additional fee for multiples: $50/ baby **These consults do not include a breastfeeding assessment

Follow-up Lactation Consultation

For established clients that require additional support. (90 minutes) In-person $175; Virtual $150
Additional fee for multiples: $50/ baby

Medication Consultation

I will review the pharmacologic properties of the medication(s) and available evidence-based information to assess and provide information needed to make the decision on whether the medication(s) should be used during pregnancy and/or lactation. Additionally, clinical advice and recommendations such as possible alternative therapies and treatment may be provided as well.

Simple Medication Consultation ($35)

Best for questions regarding the treatment of one disease state (I.e. high blood pressure, pain, seasonal allergies, etc.) or the use of one to two medications. Fifteen-minute virtual consultation and brief written care plan provided.

Complex Medication Consultation ($80)

Best for thorough review of multiple disease states, complex medication regimens, or recommendations prior to planned surgery or procedure. Thirty-minute virtual consultation with thorough written care plan provided. In-person option available but may require travel fee.

Home visit service areas (by county):

Portage, Trumbull, and Mahoning- included

Summit, Stark, Geauga, and Columbiana- $25 travel fee

Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Medina, Lake, Mercer, and Lawrence- $50 travel fee

Fees and Policies

All lactation consults include two weeks of follow-up email support at no additional cost.
All prenatal and lactation consultations include a simple medication consult. If more complex medication services are required, there will be an additional $50 fee
More Than Milk, LLC is not currently an in-network provider with any insurance companies. We are able to provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for all lactation consultations. While reimbursement is mandated for most plans under the Affordable Care Act, we cannot guarantee reimbursement.
